What are some of your package options?
We have one option which can be described as “We shoot everything, you get everything.” You receive three edited movies: sneak peek (3-4min), highlights/documentary (18-20min), and a long-form edit of the full ceremony and all important moments from start-to-finish. The edited movies are delivered in multiple formats: BluRay, DVD, and high-quality digital master copies. All of the original media (raw footage) is available for the added cost of a hard drive.
How much time do you cover?
Our objective is to cover all activities throughout the day. We are starting to move away from an hourly system and only count time for traditionally long and/or multi-day events. We will chat with you at your consultation to determine an appropriate time to start and end videography coverage. We typically start shooting about three hours before the ceremony and work through the end of the reception.
What about lighting?
Don’t worry, we come with tools for lighting without blinding your guests. Some conditions can be limiting. We will consult with you to be clear about what we can do and how.
What about sound?
A wireless mic is placed on the Groom for the ceremony. We also pick up sound throughout the day.
Who picks the music?
You do.
Do I have to feed you?
No, but it helps if you do.
Do you have preferences on which photographers you work with?
We have our favorites, but ultimately it’s up to you. We respect all photographers and stay out of their shots.
What is a styled shoot?
These are themed photo/video setups designed for wedding inspiration & ideas. It is also a way for participating vendors to display their work on popular wedding blogs. We do not offer this as a service, but can refer you to the right people if you are interested in having your own shoot.
What kind of cameras do you use?
This varies by project and shooting conditions. We like to mix it up and stay current. We’re big fans of DSLRs for wedding videography because they are compact, unobtrusive and perform well. Please contact us for detailed specs.
